We’re going to talk about ollieing on banks.
A bank as we mentioned before is a transition like a ramp except that it is straightens
out flat into a 45 degree angle. Once you mastered how to ollie while rolling and practice
it rolling away from a bank fakie and you can combine the two, roll up the bank ollie
and roll away fake. The difference between ollieing on a bank an ollieing on a flat ground
is as soon as you land on the ollie on a bank your speed is going to increase as you roll
backwards down the ramp. Remember keep your focal point on the front of your ramp and
don’t look behind you as you desend back down the transition fakie. Notice that the ollie
should be performed while you have speed traveling up the ramp and not after your speed has stopped
at the top. If you wait too long, the board is going to slip out from underneath you,
make it one continuous motion and anticipating ollieing further on the bank than what you
originally started from. Let’s see it again in action. Keep your knees bent, keep practicing you
can learn how to ollie on banks and roll away fakie.
