How To Do a 3 Turn in Figure Skating ft. Ondrej Hotarek | Olympians’ Tips

(HOW TO…) Hi, everyone, I’m Ondrej Hotarek. I’m an ice skater from the Italian
Ice Sports Federation. Today I’m going to show you
how to perform a 3 turn. (3) A 3 turn is an element we use to turn one foot
from front to back. Let me show you. (PUSH) First,
we start with a nice push. Arms and legs. I bend
and push with my right foot. (TWIST) Secondly, we’ll see how to turn
from front to back using the torsion between
shoulders and hips, this way. You can try this
standing still. One…two. (WEIGHT) The third important thing is
the way you lean on the blade. In the 3 turn,
it’s exterior front, the weight shifts
towards the point, not on the actual point, but
the front part of the blade. Let’s see it again. This is how
to perform a 3 turn. Remember to train safely.
See you soon. (HOW TO…)

Lol, why am I watching this? I'm already doing solo and couples internationals. 😂

The title wasn't translated correctly into French. It's not "Comment perfectionner un saut de trois", it's "Comment perfectionner un trois".
"Saut de trois" is the Swiss name of the Waltz jump, which is called "saut de valse" in French. But there is no jump here : it's a one-foot turn, namely a "trois".
