How to Do a Boardslide / Railslide | Bam Skateboarding

Bam: So a railslide is pretty simple. There’s not too much to it, as long as you
know your ollie and your 180 ollie, it’s pretty much a mixture of both of those. And you ollie and just land on the board,
right in the middle. And try to make sure that both feet are on
your bolts, because if they’re not, you have potential to rack your nuts and believe me
that hurts big time. You want to avoid that, so both feet on bolts
and you want to make sure you know how slippery the rail’s going to be, whether to lean too
much forward, or too much back, because you would have a racking your nuts potential,
so you want to avoid that. Other than that, there’s not too much to it. The key to a railslide is just a 180 ollie
right to the rail, slide down, it’s probably the simplest slide in skateboarding. Kerry: Yes. It’s the first one you’re going to learn,
and you definitely want to have your ollies and 180’s down, so you can get on the rail
comfortably to get your balance. Bam: And that right there, is how you do an
railslide.
