(cheering) Summer bodies are made in the winter so here to show us how to surf our way to a better body is the owner of Surfset NYC, please welcome Aaron Thouvenin. (cheering) So you gotta tell me Aaron, what are the benefits to a surfboard workout? So we draw from the real movements of surfing to help build strength, stability, cardio endurance, right, body awareness. And as soon as you step on this unstable surfboard, your core is immediately gonna engage and strengthen in one of the most effective ways possible. My core is hurtin’ right now. I’m gonna see, you’re a workout pro so you’re gonna do excellent with this, okay? Okay, alright.
And one of the big things with this is you don’t have to be a surfer or have surf experience to get the most outta this, right? So you’re gonna have a lotta fun with it and we’re gonna get you fired up this morning. Alright, okay. (applause) Alright well let’s get surfin’, whatta we do? First thing we gotta do, we gotta get you on the board, right? So let’s walk you over here. Okay, well I got my ha, ooh. (cheering) I got my handy lifeguard Jovan here, right here. (cheering) Hey, hi, that’s how I shake hands, okay, alright. Let’s get you on the board. We’re gonna step that back foot on first. Um, okay.
I love this wetsuit, by the way, you are all in. You’re all in.
I’m all in, I’m all in. Okay, I’m gonna jump on my board, we’re gonna do this together. (cheering) Alright, so let’s start it out here, we’re gonna bend those knees. Bend those knees.
Deep breath, bellybutton in. Bellybutton in.
Let’s get that rock goin’, that’s how we turn on the board, right? Rockin’, rockin’, rockin’.
A little bit slow. Rock with it.
Rockin’. I’m channelin’ my Cardi B, ow. You’re workin’ it.
Ow. You’re workin’ with it, you work with it. How you doin’, I like this.
Excellent. Right back to center, right?
Alright. Let’s take some squats here. Squat, okay.
There we go. Okay, oh I don’t see no reason for squattin’. Oh, you got it.
I don’t know what the heck. Alright, let’s get outta that, then. What is this? We’re gonna go another level here. Pause at the bottom with me, right here. Is is supposed to be burning like this? It is, it is, we’re gonna get those quads and glutes fired. Okay, we’re gonna rotate forward, hands on the board. Rotate forward, oh where my lifeguard at? There we go, now we’re down to our knees, and knees all the way down.
Ooh. Let’s get you warmed up and ready. You ready for that mermaid stretch? Mermaid stretch.
We’re gonna push right up into it. Oh, oh that feel good on my back. Singing optional here.
Okay, alright, okay. Okay, time to paddle out, let’s leave the beach. Time to paddle out.
Get it goin’. Squeeze and engage that booty, nice tight booty on this one.
Oh squeeze my booty, okay. Arms come up here.
Kay, paddle. Nice strong paddle, so here we go. Paddlin’.
Let’s get it movin’. I’m paddlin’.
Almost there. Alright, and I lost my doggone wig, I’m tryin’ to paddle to get my wig. Alright, two, one.
Okay. Alright, we made it out, let’s have a seat while we’re waiting to catch that wave. All the way —
Get a little extra work in here.
To catch the water. A little extra core work, alright lean back into it. Now what, wait a minute, what is this? We call this our shark kick, alright? It’s when we’ll kick it out. No sharks.
Kickin’ the shark. Yeah, kickin’ the shark.
Kickin’ the shark. Pullin’ my stomach.
Whoa, you got it. Pullin’ my stomach. (applause) Oh, my stomach is goin’, “Heifer, what are you doin’ to me?” You got it, you got it.

Lifeguard, feel my heart, I don’t feel okay. Almost there, almost there, three, two, one. (cheering) And back down.
Good, good. Alright, now, we’re gonna bring it forward. We’re gonna put this whole thing together. Ready to catch that wave? I’m ready to catch somethin’. Let’s do it, let’s do it, alright. Arms come up, paddle.
Paddle, paddle. We got it, we got it.
Paddle. I’m gon’ grab that wig.
Alright. Look over that left shoulder.
I got that wig. See that wave formin’ up behind you, look over that shoulder.
I’m lookin’ over, A shark, I see a shark.
Here it comes, here it comes.
Look at you. Three, two, one.
Two. Here we go, hands come in, we’re gonna step right into this.
Okay. Big step with your left foot. Big step with the left foot. Where my lifeguard, yeah, there you go. There we go, find that foot.
There you go. Rotate into it.
Yeah, there you go. We got it, excellent, excellent. (cheering) There you go.
We’re good, woo. There you go, there you go, that’s it, that’s it, hold on. Now, my challenge for you today. What’s the challenge? I’m gonna get you standin’ on one foot. So we’re gonna turn it forward. One, turn, what?
Turn that foot forward. We’re gonna stand nice and tall, just like — Like, like what?
Just like this. Let’s see ya, let’s see ya all by yourself. Like what?

Ok so I just need an old surf board, some bungee cords, 3 inflatable rubber (i think?) balls, and some sort of rectangular thing to hold the balls/attach the bungee cord to… I'm sure I have all that laying around;p

WOW…WOW… so its NOT ok for a man to treat a woman as a "sexual object" but this lady can just lay her hands all over this "lifeguard" & verbally harass him? I doubt he wants anything to do with that woman. Even when a women is used in a similar situation i cant remember anything recent when a man laid hands on them like she did. In reality it doesnt bother me because i dont get "offended" by BS like this. He knew what he job was but do you think they told him that this lady would be eye ball x-ing him and laying hands on him? my point is there's a double standard. these shows frequently talk about how men are acting. its like a man expecting a stripper "exotic dancer" to be a prostitute. yet they want men to still pay for dinners and treat them like a lady.

I'm watching and thinking. Did they put Sherries head on another BODY! Because the Woman is LOOKING GOOD! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜
