Hi! My name is Evan Blankenship with expertvillage.com,
and I’m going to be teaching you how to backside 180. So now that you’ve been skating ramps
a little while, you go up and come back down, maybe ollie up, you can start trying a 180.
To do a 180, what you’re going to do is roll up the ramp, and when you get to the top,
pop, slide your foot, land on bolts, and you just roll back down. Before you try the backside
180, get warmed up, ride up and down the ramp, ollie or something. Now, when you’re approaching
the ramp, make sure to be centered. Once you start rolling up, you kind of want to lean
back a little bit that way you’re parallel with the ramp. Then roll up until you can’t
anymore, and right before then just give it a pop. Slide your foot around, level out,
and land on the bolts or pivot if you have to. Either way it works. Just remember stay
centered leaning slightly back, and it’ll look kind of like this.
