Hi guys! I’m Carito and I’m so happy for being another Thursday with you, today I want to explain you the branches that exist in roller skating so that you can have an idea of which style you’re practicing or which style you want to practice and well to start let’s bring the skates Well guys to begin I want to explain the type of skating that is hockey on wheels these skates normally have a Hi-Lo frames which mean that this two wheels are smaller than these two to help the skaters to do quick breaks or going faster in the starts, etc. well these were the hockey skates Now I want to tell you about the Freestyle Slalom skates this is the branch of roller skating that I practice these skates have a comfortable boot and the frame size depend on your shoe size and we also have something called “rockering” which means that this two wheels touch the ground before these others for 2mm (+/-) and this allow us to be more agile while doing our freestyle, the lower part of our boot is made of lightweight material so that our skates don’t weigh so much Well guys I also want to talk you about other type of skates but I don’t have them physically so I’ll let you an image over here so that you can visualize how they are and these are agressive skates these kind of skates have rigid boot or stiff material like plastic so that they can resist impacts also in their frame, remember that the frame is this what holds the wheels, the frame has an “anti-rockering” which is to say that has an inverted “U” that help them to be able to lean and slide better while soul grinding, the wheels that they normally use are 64mm or smaller the truth is that I don’t know it well but I think they’re 64mm or smaller There is another discipline that I would like to explain that is Inline speed skating these type of skates normally has short boot, which mean that instead of ending here, finish here. And the frame commonly is for 110mm wheels depending the model. And what you do in this discipline is a race of different distances to see who has better time Now I want to explain you Fitness skates that I normally have here in my background these kind of skates have a comfortable boot to resist long distances, they have flat frame which mean that the 4 wheels touch the ground at the same time not like the others that some of them touch before or not, in this case I have them of 80mm but you can choose them little bigger depending the speed you want to have in your route There are a lot of disciplines inside Roller Skating, these are some of the most known and well there are also other kind of skates not only Inline but also Quads that are two wheels in front and two wheel back these type of skates is used by roller derby skaters, artistic and so on Well guys hope is useful this information, if you have someone who wants to buy skates share it to make easier the decision of which type of skates is going to buy and you send me a picture of which kind of skates you have or discipline you practice to my social networks that as you know, I left them at the end of the video don’t forget to subscribe give it like and to write me in the comments what other kind of videos would you like to watch here See you next Thursday!
